Zach’s Bio
Owner/Founder/Expert Trainer
Entrepreneurship has always been in my blood. Fresh out of college, I launched several businesses, which ultimately led me to pursue a personal protection dog. After extensive research, I landed on the European Doberman, a breed I was drawn to for its loyalty, intelligence, and drive. While I had always loved dogs growing up, this experience was different. When Raksha came into my life, everything changed. Through our training journey together, I discovered my true calling – professional dog training.
With a newfound purpose, I made a bold decision: I liquidated my businesses and committed fully to building a career in dog training. This wasn’t just about training dogs; it was about creating lifelong bonds with both human and canine clients. Purest Canines Dog Training embodies the true passion and dedication I pour into my craft, allowing the opportunity to share my love for this lifestyle with the world.
My specialty lies in developing dogs to their highest potential in protection sports and personal protection, working as both a handler and a decoy. Raksha and I began our journey with personal protection training, PSA (Protection Sport Association) working towards our PDC (Protection Dog Certification). We have also earned all three levels of Canine Good Citizen titles. It’s been a deeply rewarding and spiritual journey ever since – one that continues to fuel my passion for helping others build stronger relationships with their dogs.

Kyana owns four rescue dogs, each with their own story, and has earned multiple AKC titles while training over the years. She has also successfully trained and handled her own service dog. She is currently competing in PSA (Protection Sport Association) with her dog, Ryker – a shelter dog – and the two are now working at securing the final leg of the highest level of the sport.
In addition to her hands-on experience, Kyana previously owned and operated her own dog training business and has played a key role in supporting and nurturing multiple dog training companies over the years.
